The Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre has ventured into something completely different from normal fair and congress activities. A team of ten graffiti artists has created a 160 metre-long painting on the exterior wall of the centre's largest hall. In all, the painting includes nine works of art. It will remain in place for the coming year, until completion of the new Hall 7 and demolition of the present eastern wall in due course.
In its latest update on the progress of the 50-million EUR IMPACT hotel, the IMPACT Exhibition and Congress Centre in Bangkok, Thailand, announces that the building is now 70% complete and expected to open in January 2011 as scheduled. The hotel will be managed by Accor under the Novotel brand and operate under the name Novotel IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines is now operating direct flights three times a week between Brussels Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The launch of the new route coincides with Shanghai 2010 Expo, which will run until October 31.
