In 2010, c/o Pop will use Cologne's Rheinparkhallen as its new festival centre and venue for the industry's gathering c/o Pop Convention. Instead of the traditional slot in mid August, the event will now be held in late June. The relocation results in several new partnerships and interesting co-operative agreements for the Cologne organisers. The declared aim, according to managing director Norbert Oberhaus, is not only to make Cologne one of the leading music cities in Europe again, but also to expand the international gathering of the creative industry already successfully established by c/o Pop still further. In the face of rapidly changing conditions on the music and festival market, it is important to use synergies to open up new prospects. The next c/o Pop will open on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. ch
