Sydney showground expands to meet demand

Sydney Showground General Manager, Peter Thorpe, has just announced that a new, purpose built exhibition pavilion will be constructed at the Showground in the coming months. This latest investment in infrastructure follows on from major works completed last year on Sydney Showground Stadium. In 2011 the tradeshow AIMEX - Asia Pacific's International Mining Exhibition served as a presentation platform for 638 exhibitors. These tradeshow exhibitors presented their companies and services on a total of 22193 sqm at AIMEX.

17382 visitors came to AIMEX to inform themselves on the latest trends and innovations in the following main exhibit sectors: Mining equipment, supplies and services, computers - software and hardware, conveyors and associated handling equipment, electrical equipment, fire fighting equipment, safety equipment, underground mining, transportation, environmental and dust control, opencut mining, mineral extraction, mineral processing and coal preparation, crushing, grinding and screening equipment, power generation and transmission, cabling, energy systems, process control, pumps and valves, water treatment, dewatering equipment.

More conferences in China

The Dutch Congrex group and CITS China International MICE have concluded an alliance to optimise their international convention marketing and project management. The aim is to set up more conferences in China that bring together international and European business with Chinese prospectives and companies.
